FABIOLA ESTRADA DIAZ FLORES

M.S. ESE Student
Fabiola is interested in water quality and microbial ecology of freshwaters. She will be studying wastewater pollution effects on the link between microbial structure and function.

DAVID ROBERTS
Graduate Research Assistant
M.S. ESE student
David is interested in soil and freshwater microbial ecology. His project looks at the effects of infiltration berms on microbial communities and water retention in the Texas Hill Country.

AIMEE STEINBRECHER
Ph.D. Graduate Research & Teaching Assistant
Aimee works as a wetland scientist at Terracon Consultants and as a teaching assistant at UTSA. She is interested in understanding nutrient processing in urban ponds and wetlands.

ABBY DODERER
Undergraduate Research Assistant
Abby is interested in microbiology and is the resident expert on purifying DNA from environmental samples. She will graduate with her B.S. in Microbiology & Immunology in 2023.

KARINA GUTHMANN
Undergraduate Research Assistant
Karina is interested in fungal and soil ecology. She is helping with ongoing wildfire work in the southern Appalachian Mountains. She will receive her B.S. in Environmental Science in 2023.

Megan graduated with her M.Sc. in Environmental Science Fall 2022. She is currently a Ph.D. student at Texas A&M University.

CATERINA BEVERATI
Caterina graduate with her B.S. in Environmental Science Fall 2022. She is currently works as an analyst for TCEQ.

MICHELLE LE
Michelle received her B.S. in Microbiology in 2021. She is currently a graduate student at UTSA interested in med school.

SEBASTIAN GARCIA
Sebastian received his B.S. in Environmental Science in 2020. He currently works as a regulations analyst for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
